Samsung Chromebook XE303 (daisy-snow) Libreboot Help?

Has anyone flashed this board before?

It states it was removed:
Removed boards

These boards were in Libreboot, but have been removed with the intention of re-adding them at a later date. They were removed due to issues.

However the release states:

Use an older release of Libreboot, if you still want to use these boards.

Where can I find the older releases to flash this board?
I’ve removed the battery since it was swelling, so I’m not concerned about getting the battery to work—just the charging functionality and everything else with firmware. This is just scrap board I wanted to test with for fun.

I also have a question regarding a potential mistake I made. I de-soldered the eMMC, and now when I try to boot from a Debian live USB, it prompts me to use ChromeOS instead. Did I shoot myself in the foot by doing that?

Is it possible to install ChromeOS on an SD card or flash drive and then use that to boot into to flash the firmware? Any guidance or resources you could share would be greatly appreciated!
