I put the MrChromeBox bios on my Chromebook 4 GeminiLake and it simply no longer recognizes my USB stick. I sent it to the technician and he installed Windows 10, but I want to switch to Linux, but the problem still persists. How did he manage to do this? Is there a problem with booting my USB stick?
You have a micro SD slot ?
I’m assuming you tried all the suggestions on the FAQ, right…
yes, so that means i can make a bootable SD card?
yeah, i tried… at the moment i could put windows 10 on it, but it’s gonna lose support by microsoft and all that stuff, so i wanna switch to linux, but appearently it doesnt recognizes my USB stick anymore, even if it’s the same BIOS
nevermind, guys. After 3 different USB sticks, i tried a 4th and it worked, i already have most things working
Yeap
Don’t worry on this there are workarounds and freeloaders…I predict Windows10 will still be in use for the next 2 to 3 years (from 10.25)
