Summary of the Issue

[I cannot use the touchpad, or wifi drivers, or anything like that for that matter, I had an extra wifi chip from another natively windows laptop laying around so i used that to solve the issue, the wifi chip that was problematic that I couldn’t find any drivers for on coolstar was the “RTL8852BE”, then I went and tried to get the touchpad working but i literally just can’t. I installed crostouchpad.4.1.6 and none of the options worked.]

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Install tiny11 25H2 on an CX1405CKA chromebook

  2. install drivers from coolstar

  3. restart computer

  4. none actually end up working

Expected Behavior

[Should have worked properly, duh :p]

your board is supported perfectly well, but using a modified/stripped ISO is not.

Either use an official MS ISO, or you are on your own to sort out driver issues. coolstar’s drivers are not the problem here.

well i just mean that if i search for this exact model on coolstars website the actual drivers arent there, also i have installed the exact same iso file on another jasper lake chromebook and it works perfectly fine. I don’t see how that could be the issue

the drivers are the same for all Jasperlake Chromebooks, they are not model specific
