ASUS CM34 - No sound in Arch Linux

Hello,

Im using a ASUS Chromebook CM34 with Arch Linux using the MrChromebox.tech UEFI firmware and I am having an issue where I have no sound. Based on lshw, I see the following sound devices:

I suspect this means that ALSA does not support my sound card. At first, I tried to install the sof-firmware and alsa-firmware patches but that did not work. After further research, I found these posts which mentions that I may need to add the device to a driver file and recompile the kernel:

I tried to follow those instructions to add the device and rebuild the kernel but that did not work. At this point, I’m open to any ideas.

Thanks in advance!
