I see cb314-1h is supported but I want to confirm if that means all cb314-1h are supported since they all have different numbers after 1h-xxxx. I’m assuming all those with different numbers after 1h are supported but I wanna make sure before buying one that is cb314-1h-c4pu. Thanks
the documentation is very clear, support isn’t based on the model, but the ChromeOS board name. But obviously this is hard to determine before purchase. In the case of Acer models, it is safe to say that if a device CB314-1H is listed in the supported device list, then the part after 1H is not of consequence.
But, I also don’t recommend buying a Chromebook just to run Linux, it just doesn’t make sense.
